3rd Glass Design Award

Glass Horizon

International design competition for students from design-oriented and creative courses of study

After two successful design competitions, the 3rd Glass Design Award will be announced in 2023/2024.

Under the competition title Glasshorizon , participants will have the opportunity to expand their own "glass horizons". They can put their knowledge and skills from their studies into practice and allow their creativity and individuality to flow into the designs. With the Glass Design Award, participants are given space to research and experiment and can thus, among other things, explore the limits of what is possible.

The participants will create designs entirely according to their ideas on one of the specified topics and then produce them from glass and other materials. For this purpose, the equipment of the Glasmanufaktur Harzkristall can also be used after uncomplicated appointment arrangement.
